香港城市大學嘅邵逸夫創意媒體中心建於 2011 年，係一座後現代主義嘅學術建築，由慈善機構邵氏基金捐贈一億港元建成🏯。媒體中心由著名嘅波蘭裔美國建築師，作品包括紐約世貿中心一號樓嘅丹尼爾·里伯斯金 (Daniel Libeskind) 設計。媒體中心設計簡潔俐落🏠。外牆運用咗角度不一嘅幾何形狀去組成，喺外面望，就好似由幾個不規則多面體🧊結合埋一齊。啲窗就採用不等邊梯形嘅形狀，呼應住大廈嘅設計風格。除咗外觀，大廈嘅白牆反射熱力🔆，減少咗開冷氣要用嘅能源，因而設計被認為係融合咗環保嘅元素。

大樓內部共有 9 層，總共提供 13,500 平方米嘅實用面積，最多可容納 2500 名學生同教職員工🧑🏻‍💻。顧名思義，大樓容納城大創意媒體學院、電腦科學系、英語系、媒體與傳播系等學系嘅課室。在設施方面，它有一個多功能劇院📽、錄音棚、咖啡廳同餐廳、眾多個展覽空間📸，甚至有配備現代影音設備嘅錄音同製作工作室，可進行新聞廣播同多媒體製作培訓。

City University of Hong Kong’s Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre is a post-modern academic building🏯 built in 2011, made possible by a generous 100 million HKD donation from the charity body Shaw Foundation. Designed by the renowned Polish-American architect Daniel Libeskind, who also designed New York’s One World Trade Centre, the Media Centre employs mainly white walls in slanted, geometric forms📐, decorated by long horizontal windows at non-uniform intervals. Other than for looks, this design is also said to be environmentally friendly🌱, as it limits the amount of heating from sunlight 🔆, reducing air conditioning energy required.

Inside, the building has 9 floors, which in total provides 13,500 sq meters of usable area and a max capacity of 2500 students and staff🧑🏻‍💻. As indicated by the name, it houses CityU’s School of Creative Media, plus the Computer Science, English, and Media and Communication Departments. In terms of facilities, it has a multi-purpose theatre 🎬, sound stage labs, cafes and restaurants, numerous exhibition spaces and even recording and production studios🎙with modern audio and camera equipment that can allow for training in news broadcast 📻 and multimedia production.
